So I was wondering how to calculate ROI within a specific situation.
I invested some cash into a crypto. I waited until I doubled my cash and then I pulled my initial investment (plus a bit for trans. fee) leaving only the gains in the asset. I like to calculate my own ROI with all my investments on a spreadsheet but since I pulled more than I invested I have a negative ROI which affects my portfolio ROI.
Am I doing this wrong? Is there another way to go about this?
