The drain in our bathtub had come loose a few weeks ago, and as a result I have a 2 foot by 4 foot section of my basement ceiling that I have to replace. The basement currently has a popcorn ceiling, and I'm wondering what the easiest way is to replace that texture once I install the new piece of drywall. I see a couple of products that are made for this; one is a ceiling patch product from Homax, and the other method I've seen is mixing up joint compound, and texturing the ceiling with a plastic loop roller. What works the best, and isn't going to be a complete pain in the ass to do? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2Ap6Cjb
