The home we are buying has rooms with random trowel texture, which seems pretty thick, and rooms with a sponged finish. Is it possible to spray a heavy coat of orange peel using an air compressor and a large texture hopper? Will it cover up the trowel marks or will they show right through?I guess the alternative is to sand all the thick trowel marks down, which would be very time consuming and still would leave the little "recessed" areas showing.A more simple question might be this: what level of imperfections in a flat wall can be concealed by orange peel texture? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2pMh0A8
