I had a headphone converter much like this one whose tip started to become flimsy days in advance of this happening, but for some reason I didn't think anything of it. Then, I tried removing it on a whim from the output jack and part of it got lodged inside. At first the jack looked like this. I used a cotton swab (with the cotton part severed) to try to remove the obstruction. By doing this, I was able to extract something. It was small and dropped out, then get lost somewhere so I don't know what it looked like. After the thing came out, it looked like this and was still unable to connect with any cable.I'm sick of just poking around inside it, as I did for over a half hour yesterday, because I feel like I'm only making it worse.Perplexingly, the sound still comes out of the keyboard's speakers, but because of the output jack being compromised, cables or cords are unable to connect with it, and as such the keyboard no longer works with any headphones or amplifiers. My question isDo you reccomend I use the superglue method (applying crazy glue to the end of a severed q-tip, putting it inside, waiting 30 minutes then removing it)?Is there a better way? Thanks in advance y'all. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2AAJ62W
