I've been with my boyfriend since we were in high school and now we live in my parents house. We live in a room of less than 200 sq. ft., share a bathroom with the rest of the household, and are not really allowed access to the kitchen so we do very light snack-groceries and a lot of fast food.
My boyfriend makes more money than me, we loosely share our finances and we're supposed to be moving out by April. Problem is, we have absolutely nothing saved.
Personally, I'm over $70K in debt and I haven't made a single payment on my credit cards or loans in over a year... and in 2017 I had a car repossessed, so it's safe to say that my financial situation is fucked. Also... I'm 3 classes away from graduating with my Bachelors but I owe money to my school before I'm able to enroll and pay tuition.
My boyfriend's plan is to get an apartment then get a car so I can transport myself to work instead of taking lyfts all the time... then save up to try and finish my degree. He thinks I shouldn't waste my time with the credit cards or loans for now. Honestly I'm clueless and drowning.. What do I do?
