Even though it’s just my husband and I, I’m often tempted to buy the larger size/larger pack of something because it’s cost per gram or unit is cheaper that way. Well, I’ve been learning that this is not always the best way to go. I just went through my medicine cupboard and had to get rid of barely touched bottles of pills and liquid medicines that were still 3/4 full. It’s not a cost savings if you’re going to throw it out.
Lesson learned: when buying groceries or other things, I will buy based on need and what we will actually use in a determined amount of time.
