What etf's would you take if you where living in europe (forex risk). With the aim of growing by 5%-10% yearly but with a long term approach lets say 20-30 years, buy monthly and forget.(from etf bonds, to dividend etf's, to growth etf's, etc)
I'm still young (25 years old) and want to start investing, I don't plan to kill it with stocks/bonds just make some extra cash by dumping some of my money in a 'safe way' but not be actively trading I think you guys call it the lazy Portfolio.
I found a lot of information for american citizens and had a strategy till someone pointed out to me about forex risk and I realized I would be gambling.
So my question to you guys is if you were to create such a portfolio what etf's would you get. I just want to see what you guys recommend so I can start looking into them.
I also have another question, I was seeing these top 4 european etf bonds on investopedia http://ift.tt/2C0HeRS and in the 5 years term there all in the negative they wrote it themselfs like how can you say they are the best etf bonds when some of them lost 15%. Am I understanding this correctly or no? I was looking at regular bonds yesterday they all seem to rise in price not decrease.
Thanks.
