Hi all,I have just moved in toghether with my partner and, even if we are in a rented property, I would like to increase my general home improvement knowledge.I have pretty much no idea about what gets an house up and running, the most I can do is change a light bulb. Do you have good resource or books that covers the basic of how a house 'works' (e.g. electricity, lighting, plugs and appliances; water & gas)?
