I am considering enrolling in an accelerated bachelor of science in nursing program in the next 18 months or so and am obviously very concerned about this tax bill if it passes. If it does - should I delay schooling altogether? I currently have a full time job with okay pay and good benefits. Maybe things will be better in a few years and I'll be safer just waiting? Or, should I leave off applying for scholarships and just borrow money (will the interest on borrowed money be less than the tax on "free" money)?
How are other potential / current students planning to handle this situation? What options am I not seeing here?
