My takehome is around $44500 annually. Now, I could live like a hermit and suffer and save $30,000 a year...which means I am living on $14,500 a year or $1208/month. Basically rent a room with a bunch of roommates, rarely eat out, etc
However the second column is me saving $23K a year instead. That would give me almost $1800 per month to live. Which I could rent a small apartment myself and still live decent but semi frugally..
I feel like the difference between the 2 tables is very minimal...and thus being frugal is kinda pointless.
Thoughts?
(I am assuming 7% return on investments; One is saving $30K a year and the other is saving $23K a year)
