I signed up for alerts with Equifax after the hack. I never got any. I know it was going to expire eventually, maybe soon?
Anyway, I started getting emails from ADP about my Aline card. I don't have an Aline card, and my employer doesn't use payroll cards. We do use ADP for payroll, just not the cards.
I tried calling ADP and they said they'd cancel and send me a new card, and didn't seem to understand I have no such card and don't want one.
I tried having my username emailed to me on their site using the same email I have been getting the messages from..but it emailed me back with no username?
I'm going to contact my HR today and see if they know of any email weirdness with ADP, but I am wondering if someone stole my identity and was dumb enough to use my actual email address? I am really hoping this is just ADP sending out erroneous emails, but I thought I should start preparing for the worst.
