Good day or evening dear people. I shall try to keep this as clear and short as possible.First of all I have never used magnets in my creations thus I truly lack information about them. Either I can't even properly scour the internet or there is no info of what I am looking for.I have to create a box to which I can attach other similar diameter plates to it. Imagine a toy or puzzle of sorts. Thus I believe there are only two ways this can go. Either the box is magnetic and the plates stick to it. Or the plates are and they stick to the box.The metal box itself http://ift.tt/2CsHfN8 Box info http://ift.tt/2ziB3sH dimensions to be more clear ( I tried to include imperial units and I do hope I did not mess those up ) : Weight 278 g / 0.6128 lbs Metal thickness - 2 mm / 0.0787 in / 13-14 gauge ? Front and back - 55 mm / 2.165 in x 37 mm / 1.456 in Sides - 88 mm / 3.464 in x 37 mm / 1.456 in Top and bottom - 88 mm / 3.456 in x 55 mm / 2.165 in And the box is hollow .If it is possible then how should I make the box itself magnetic and would it equally pull the plates on the outside from all of its sides ?And if I would have to make the plates and other small parts magnetic with adhesive plastic magnetic sheets would their pull be enough to hold the weight of the plates when stuck to the box itself ? The thickness of the plates should be at least 0.75 mm / 0.0295 in / 22 gauge. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2CqumTR
