I have been tracking my expenses since 2005. Currency is euro. The graph represents the average trailing expenses of the period while I was living in Belgium, i.e. the amount at 10/2006 are my average expenses (per month) for the year up to 10/2006, i.e. 11/1/2005-10/30/2006.
In 2014 I moved to an expensive city in the USA, hence increasing expenses. I have been working in tech all this time, so my expenses are a fraction of my income.
