Hey everyone. I guess you could call me a beginner investor. Been in the game for about 3 years now, the past 1 year has been maybe 8-10 hours per day doing research or trading, there is one thing I am having a hard time finding information about that most high-end traders can use to their advantage instantaneously, that is major events and news.
Such as; a market crash war or tension(f.e. NK/USA situation or Russia and Georgia in '08) fda approvals, drug trials tons more that I am not aware of?
Could you more experienced traders and investors tell me a bit more about these, and if you know of any more, give me some info on that?
How it affects the market (Up, down, volatility?) When? (f.e. a war with "x" country spans 3 months, would I short or long a certain stock for that entire time?)
If you have any info on what assets I should be trading at these events?
as in;
buy or sell oil/ng in "x" event buy or sell metal in "x" event
and so forth.
Thanks in advance, best of luck to everyone
