Through my family, I inherited a commercial property in Argentina (50% me, 50% my sister). I can potentially make $1500-2000 per month (my half) just through owning the property. If not, my sister is considering buying me out and keeping the property for her own use at around $500,000 (the property is valued at around $1M).
The question is: do I cash out or keep taking in the monthly income? Could I invest that $500,000 and end up better off?
