Hi guys, I've just spent a couple of hours testing the upper limits of this promotion - so if you wish to save yourself time, then take the detail below as gospel. Please don't remove this, as I'm not trying to promote the company, I just think they have overlooked some crucial points in their discounts and people could save quite a bit of money on stocking stuffers for Christmas (a very expensive time of the year)

Cotton-On (cottonon.com) has a sale at the moment where you can essentially get some pretty average products for very cheap / free. Here's how to do it:

Look for the items that is marked with the following discount: Save $15 When You Spend $60

Now, the wording makes sense, but how they apply the discount doesn't make sense. The Discount applies to every item, not just once per purchase. So, say there is something that is $20 and you decide to buy 3 of them, the discount kicks in on each item. Instead of paying $60 - $15 = $45, you end up paying $60 - $15 - $15 - $15 = $15 Total!

To add to that, this applies to all products that have that particular discount applied "Save $15 When You Spend $60". So you can get 3 or 4 or 10 different items and the $15 discount will apply against all items.

So let's talk limits. You can find many products which are $15 or less which means if your shopping cart total is above $60 these items become free!

There is another limit that isn't spoken about - After filling my cart with over $3,000 worth of items that were $15 or Less with that particular code applied, I kept hitting another limit which isn't spelled out anywhere. You can only have a maximum of 50 unique items in your shopping cart and a total of 99 items in total (multiple items of the same type). So if the little number on your shopping cart goes above 99, then you will get an error at checkout.

So what does one do? Well I know plenty of people who would be keen for a whole bunch of stocking stuffers seeing we are so close to Christmas. There are pens and waterbottles, sefie sticks, tabletop toys, colouring in books and colouring in pencils, Star Wars night lights, Individual wooden Letters, Eye Masks and Notepads - with the discount and for $15 or less.

I've stocked up and just finished my checkout process - I paid a total of $9 for Postage for 99 different items. You can also choose to pick it up in store for free.

Have Fun!
