When I was young, I got a share of MCD as a gift; for like 20 years the annual report included a coupon for free food. This was a delight for 10-year-old me, along with the 17-cent dividend check in the mail every 3 months.
Are there other companies with significant giveaways or discounts for shareholders, where it's worth getting a share to access the promotion?
