Hey everyone. I see advice for those with higher debt than I, but they also earn more or have higher immediate earning potential. Taking care of my mental health is a part time job within itself, so I hardly have time to work along with dealing with college. I do work study which is where my bit on income comes in from, but I hardly ever earn the max amount due to timing restrictions. My average monthly total is $160 these days. That money is taken up quickly by my phone bill and medical necessities.
I used to have a really good credit score because I would use my card and then pay it off. Since this summer I've been trying to pay down the card, which has never been ran up this high (had a bad summer financially and mentally), but little progress has been made. My FICO score is now low.
I pay all my monthly bills on time, but I also have hospital bills I can't afford to pay in collections.
I'd like to have my credit card debt paid off before I graduate in May so i can work on at least rebuilding my FICO score.
What advice would y'all give to someone in my situation?
