I am currently working on building my wardrobe up to high-quality pieces. I used to waste money on super cheap clothes that just fell apart after a few washes, so I've since learned the error of my ways.
I'm currently looking at updating my winter outerwear and my big wishlist item is a puffy parka type deal.
When would the best time of year be to buy winter outerwear, specifically parkas? I'm hoping I didn't miss my window with black friday, but I heard that a lot of stores will have huge markdowns now as their fiscal year ends/the holidays happen. But at the same time, is it worth waiting until later, as the season closes, like in February/March?
Also - suggestions for a good brand for winter wear? I am willing to invest in the name brands if there are good guarantees that are backing the product.
