So I've done a bunch of Internet scouring including through this sub, and for the life of me I can't find out how to deal with this problem.I have a small 5 by 5 foot half bathroom, and I have cut and laid down interlocking vinyl planks that resemble 12 inch by 12 inch tiles. I began the first row square with the doorway where there is an original marble threshold. The front (entry) wall is parallel to the back wall where the sink and toilet are. When I finishd cutting all the flooring and interlocked them I noticed that the room is shaped like a rhombus. So the longitudinal simulated grout lines of the planks appear to move about three quarters of an inch away from the the left wall and appear to move three quarters of an inch towards the right wall. Is there a trade secret I don't know about in order to make the whole thing appear Square.I am guessing there is something I have to do with the front row of planks, but that means when you enter the small bathroom the grout lines would appear crooked relative to the threshold. Please help me this is keeping me up at night and I just want to finish this bathroom. Go easy on me I've never done this before, thanks in advance. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2j5JfTZ
