I've seen pictures of projects people have made out of old road signs. For example, this ridiculously overpriced table that I'm pretty sure my husband and I could make.The description says this particular site gets its signs "from a variety of scrap dealers and Departments of Public Works" but I googled my local Departments of Public Works and scrap metal and could only find ways to have them collect scrap metal that I already have.Does anyone know if Departments of Public Works in the U.S. generally want to get rid of these signs, and are they easy to find?
