Iv recently started a developer job at a very small company. They seem to be doing very well for themselves and overall it seems legitimate to me.
However they are doing mostly everything remotely, over the internet, as the few employees they have are based around the world. Which is fine with me.
I have negotiated a wage with the owner of the company and since I am only working part time at the moment he says to log my hours and he will pay me that weekly.
Again, fine. But I am wondering if there are any kind documents, tax forms, anything really that i should be filling out?
Anything i should be checking? I am based in Canada if that helps.
Its just everything seems very unofficial and i just want to make sure everything is good.
At this point i haven't exchanged any kind of information, documents or anything with the owner.
