Hey all. Hoping you can help a newb house owner out please.Bought my first house and 7 days into owning it the floor tiles on the entire downstairs started to 'pop' up. Aparently this has happened to alot of people in the other condos so I wasn't too worried. I had planned on just pulling up the tiles and laying a new floating wooden floor everywhere downstairs. However, when I started pulling up the tiles I noticed that all the indoor walls, staircase, kitchen units etc, are all built directly on the floor tile itself. How do I remove the tile and put down a new floor when the walls are built on top of the tiles?? Is this a common thing that is done? Seems strange to me to lay the floor tiles first before building the walls and staircase etc on top of itAny help or pointers in the right direction would be great. I'm kinda lost right now via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2mUREhW
