A frugal fun tip for decorating your home. I often use items that are found around the house for art. One time my kid spilled some straws on the floor and I wasn't gonna salvage them for drinking so I stacked them and framed it. Came out brilliant.
Recently I wanted to create a board that teaches letters with illustrations that start in each letter. I didn't have any paint. I wasn't gonna buy paint. No. Too frugal for that. I knew that I could use something I already own to color it. Then it hit me! I have a bunch of nail polish that I was never going to finish. I happened to have every color you can think of (I got a really good deal from a perk at work years ago). And they already come with a brush, they're durable, bright. What a revelation!
So, when you need decor or want to do creative projects, be creative! There's so much stuff we can repurpose in fun ways and not spend money on and buy more stuff we don't have room for.
