I'm currently debating how to hide my speaker cables that go towards my height speakers that are mounted on(!) the ceiling. The surround back ones are easily hidden in the baseboard. I don't want to go with the cables in the wall itself. My current plan are two separated raceways (one for each speaker) the wall upwards to the ceiling and from there towards the speakers. Additionally I want to put an opal transparent surface on the raceways so I can insert some LED strips as ambient lighting.I'm still debating between glueing or dowelling the raceways and also which sort of material to choose (PVC or aluminium). Also questioning whether the heat produced by the LED strips that are on top of the speaker cables may have any negative effect.I'm thankful for every input and also new ideas how to deal with that :) via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2zvg5qR
