Our local beaches are covered in plastic. Mostly fine broken up bits, raw plastic, rope (2cm up to 30cm) and general wind blown plastic (bags, crisp packets, drink bottles, lids etc)In a perfect world we'd leave the seaweed behind, but I guess that isn't a priority.I'm thinking some sort of washing machine drum filled with sea water (hey, we are on a beach) then use the digger to dump sand + plastic into it, some magic happens and the sand falls out one side and the plastic floats so the other side. Or something.Wants: Easy to make, easy to transport, leave beach stuff on the beach. Remove plastic. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2BhK4kG
