So my buddy told me about the fact if you are in the US, you can register on the social security administration's website to see your salary history starting from the time you started working. Then with that data, I used the Bureau of Labor Statistics CPI Inflation Calculator to compare what I was making in previous years (adjusted for inflation) against what I am making today.

What I found interesting is that even though I made less US Dollars in previous years, in some of those years I actually made more than I do now after being adjusted for inflation.
