in the market for a new backpack for work/school related activities. I had an Incase similar to their Icon series and while I liked the form factor and nylon materials...it didn't hold up too well. I also have a Northface Surge that's held up great but way too bulky and not very professional looking.

That said I'm looking for a pack in neutral colors, ideally with some water resistance (or nylon over poly), maybe 18-26L. Will be wearing mostly with business casual wear.

Should be able to hold a MBA 13', 1-2 books, 1-2 folders, and have some organization compartments for laptop/cell charger, a few office supplies, some odds and ends, and a fold up rain jacket. Bonus if it can hold an umbrella inside or small water bottle.

Price range (given Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales) I'd say under $100 on sale.

Been looking mainly at Timbuk2, Dankine, Burton. Style wise I really like the flat close to body styles rather than compartments that stick out on the front but it's ok if it has 2 main compartments.

Thanks!
