I'm new to this subreddit, so forgive me if this is post is out of place, but I am soon getting married and will move out with an in-home office as my work permits me to work from home. I'm looking to deck out my office space as much as I can and one thing I really want to invest in is a really nice chair.
I've heard great things about Herman Millers, but I'm also completely new to luxury chairs, so I have no attachment to these whatsoever. A few questions:
- What are some other good, quality brands you also recommend for my purposes?
- Any tips on how to get the best bang for buck (shopping specific retailers, going refurbished, buying used, buying online or in store, black friday deals, semi-annual/annual sales from brands, etc.)?
- Best place to go and try out these luxury chairs before actually purchasing?
- Anything else I should know before purchasing?
