Hi. I want to remove some cool labels from beer bottles etc. and glue them to this wooden box (a wine bottle crate). I know I can remove the labels by soaking the bottles in water with soap, vinegar or something else? But I want to use whatever is safest for the labels, so that they won't be discoloured or anything. Any advice?And what is a good way to glue them to the box? I am planning to sand the box and then oil it or something and then I want the labels to be completely snug to the box. Should I glue them first and then oil it?
