So my job I have a salary and a quarterly bonus. My question is, if I do not receive my 4th quarter bonus until January do I have to wait to file it on my 2018 taxes?
If the bonus is submitted into our payroll in December but I don't receive until January does that change anything?
Overall, I am just hoping to figure out a way to include on my 2017 taxes but it is unlikely I actually receive it in 2017. Thanks.
