I'm not gonna go into detail on what's happening to me, but suffice to say USCIS is screwing me over.
I will probably have to go on a leave of absence from my work, which will remove around 1500$ of monthly income from my family.
Of course that will mean no more fun money for anything until I get reinstated, but that's not enough. We will probably have to pick some other expenses to cut corners on, and I'm trying to figure out where.
How bad of an idea is to not pay student loans for a month or two? Is it possible to ask for a pause on payments? They're private loans refinanced through SoFi.
Sorry if I'm all over the place but this situation but me like a brick in the face.
