They separated because he can't work and refused to sign up for disability and did nothing but spend my moms hard earned money on things we didn't need. He has really bad ties with his family because of his actions, and ultimately ended up with no where to go. He needs a liver transplant and has been on the list for almost a year now, but has been taken off the list because we lost the house we use to live in and he has no stable place to live. He's been living in his car and my mom has been giving him whatever money she can, just so he can have something. He finally got around to applying for disability, but was denied. He can't really work anywhere because of how bad his liver is. Bottom line, he's broke, disabled, living in his car, and probably won't be able to last the winter. What can he do?
