Decided to beat the rush and buy a TV yesterday. Was deciding between two at Target. A $370 no-name and a $500 name brand (both already dropped to Black Friday price). After reading good reviews of the no-name, decided to take a chance. Well, despite their system saying they had 2 left, they were nowhere to be found. I went home disappointed. After a few hours pondering, I decided to ask if they would knock $50 off the $500 TV to make up for not having the other. Went back at 10 pm and asked for the manager. Luckily in my request I didn't mention the $50 I had in mind, b/c he quickly said, "Sure, I can take $100 off that one for you". So basically, just by asking I got an extra $100 off an already heavily discounted purchase. Score!
