http://ift.tt/2BgqdBo in advance for the pictures being out of order but hopefully you'll get the idea .I bought a home about a month ago (built 2004) and last night the end of run dimmer light switch stopped working , and started smelling like burnt plastic,. I tripped the breaker and removed the switch . I secured the now exposed wires and started trying to find which ones were the nuetral/ hot/traveling wires . And that's about as far as I got . Im thinking this wiring is what caused the burnt up switch but I'm not sure ,. I've installed 3 ways and dimmers before but all were the standard white/black/red and never encountered 2 blacks and one white on one switch with no tags ... I know it's vague and I'm probably going to just end up hiring somebody to chase wires/ rewire if needed . Any help is much appreciated . via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2A9Sj44
