Things have a been a bit rough lately so I've had some trouble getting my bills paid for. Was between jobs, had to decide if I wanted my family to have water, eletric, and heat or pay the bill from kays. So now I'm two payments late. I get a call last week with the person opening up the conversation with "Do you have a lawyer to file bankruptcy", almost hung up there but I let him talk a bit more.
Informed him that I could make a payment this week since I've recently started a new job but he didn't seem to care. Basically said if I didn't pay the late payments by a date then I'd owe the full amount due. Today my wife calls me at work saying Kays called her phone saying I owe them $8,000. Original price for my item was 2.5k and have 1k left. So basically, I'm ruined and no idea what to do to get myself out of this.
