Wasn't sure if this was the right place to post this, but I figured it was the closest fit.
I work for redacted and I got sick today. Fever, cough, headaches, the usual. When I called in sick, they said I had to provide a doctor's note with today's date specifically saying I could be off today. I feel like that is less than reasonable especially since redacted is a food joint, which would be very bad if I was obviously sick. What should I do?
EDIT: Was unable to make it work out for today, so I'll keep all of your suggestions in mind for next time. Thanks for all the helpful comments!
I will check on this again after my shift, so you can keep suggesting things if you guys want.
