Hello DIY! We have gotten ourselves into a predicament. We installed new newel posts and new rails, but there is an offset from the rail to the curb on one side. I think our options are:A) Install balusters only on long side ONLY-attached directly to stepA-1) Install balusters on both sides-attach long side directly to the step, and the short side into the curbB) Custom balusters with a decorative detail that ties both sides together, curved on the long side, straight on the short sideC) Violate code (?) by ending the rail into the wall and starting a new run directly above the curb to allow for straight balusters into the curb on both sidesD) OtherWhat would you do? We are in Georgia, if that means anything. I'm finding conflicting information online about the importance of having a "continuous run" on the hand rail. Thanks in advance!http://ift.tt/2zbJBDg via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2mCXGni
