I thought of this because I like to have good tools and part of it is having good warranties. It used to be Craftsman was highly valued because of the quality of the tools and their excellent warranty (generally you could just walk into a Sears and get a replacement off the shelf after handing in the broken tool).
I do not think that is a thing any more with them, but others still stand by their products.
In my experience, Leatherman is great. I bought a used multitool at a pawn shop for a great price, and after a while, I had some issues with it (environmental conditions caused rapid corrosion on some parts) and Leatherman fixed it or replaced it for free. I cannot tell if they fixed it or replaced it, but they definitely took it apart and made it like new.
Maglite also is good for warranties. You can send them any of their products and get them repaired or replaced as long as you meet the criteria, and if you don't meet the criteria, they can give a steep discount on a replacement product, usually, a newer model.
There are a few other companies whose products I like, but so far, I haven't had direct experiences with their warranties. One of the seemingly common characteristics is that the companies build products in the country in which the company exists, instead of looking for cheaper labour elsewhere and importing their products.
