I've been jobless for a while, doing some freelance jobs every now and then. My wife has been the one supporting us, just so I can find a decent job so I can contribute as well. No need to take money out of my savings.

But then, yesterday I realized that someone stole money from my bank account.

When I checked on my Chase Savings account, I saw 2 weird transactions that I never did. The 1st was money being deposited into my account, and the 2nd was that same amount of money being withdrawn. Curiously enough, it was straight from the same bank ATM that I often visit.

I went to Chase bank yesterday to find out what just happened. The guy told me that these transactions, since both were still pending, would get canceled with each other, and the won't reflect onto my savings. I explained that my main issue was that someone was able to use my account and that worried me. I canceled my card and changed my pin number to make sure it won't happen again.

Today I woke up having that in mind, and the first thing I see is that both transactions went ok, but then the deposit failed, completely draining all the money I had in my savings.

Not sure what should I do right now. All I think is to go back to the bank and get answers, but while reading through the internet for similar cases, it seems they don't go anywhere and a lot of people just lost their money.

What should I do?
