I have an expensive issue that i need to get solved its in the weird dental/medical category. I've decided my best most cost effective solution is to fly to another country. I have cheap flights and a passport.
I did try contacting a school but they made it pretty clear that it may be months to a year before I'm seen, so that option is out. I'm having discomfort now and I'd like to get it fixed before it turns to pain.
For those that have done medical tourism, how did you find/pick your doctor? I'm in the southern united states so Mexico or costa rica make the most sense to me.
What resources did you use to find a doctor? Was there a medical tourism agency? Or did you find your doctor another way?
