I'm not allowed to drill holes into the wall either. This is for an art event at the following space - http://ift.tt/2jrVZaZ idea was to use metal wire and screw loops into the wooden parts of the backsides of the frames. This would hook onto hooks which can be moved along the wire (pretty standard). The issue is how I'm going to mount the wire to the ceiling. As you can see in the picture linked above, we're lucky to have a lot of rods along the ceiling. Would it suffice to make a loop with the extremity of the wire and crimp it into a loop?A few additional questionshow would I be able to undo the crimps??is there a better way to do secure the wire on the rods so that the weight is supported?how can I make sure the pieces don't tilt forward? Would it suffice to drill one hole at the top if the piece and another at the bottom? We need to remove the art once the event is done so I need a nonpermanent solution.Any help is incredibly appreciated! via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2AKCr5R
