I own my car and have an insurance policy on it. My currently-long-distance girlfriend is moving to my city and plans to drive my car a lot by herself. She doesn't own a car and never has (so she doesn't have car insurance), though she has her driver's license. How does this work with my insurance? Am I covered if she gets in an accident? Or does she need her own policy? Not sure what the proper procedure is here. We're in Texas if it makes a difference.
