Hi! I need some very basic (I think) tax help. About 2 years ago around tax time I had sudden, catastrophic and totally unexpected health emergency. After I got out of the hospital it didn't even occur to me to do my taxes for a month at least and when I did I owed $ I didn't have and didn't file. From that point on, basically my negligence has lead to me not filing for both2015 & 2016. The amount refunded in 2016 would basically cover what I owed in 2015 and I'm pretty poor and my taxes are simple. I've done them and want to print them out. Would taking them to local tax collectors office be the best/quickest course of action to get this taken care of? Is there a better way I have no idea of? Sorry if this is a dumb question, I am utterly clueless.
