I am enrolled in a card that credits back the difference (Cit rewind), however I doubted whether the rewind would work after I saw the price drop on the Lowes website because when I bought the item it was a % off sale. (Buy 24 air filters, get 40% off - I doubted the rewind website would recognize such a sale.)

Instead of starting a rewind on the item and get my money back for the difference, I emailed Lowes customer service and explained that I had just picked up my order the day before and now I see that each filter price dropped. I explained that I bought 24 so the promotion is that I should save 40% off of the website price. When I checked my email this morning, the email read that Lowes is refunding the difference.

When I composed the email, I figured that the most they could do is either tell me no or to refund the difference. Turns out, they didn't tell me no and that they did refund the difference between the price that I bought the air filters and the new sale price.
