We are doing a light remodel of our bathroom, and I want to replace the tub surround. I found one I like, but it is marketed as a direct-to-stud surround. But, I read the installation guidelines, and in addition to screwing it to the studs, I'm still supposed to use adhesive. We already have drywall in place from the current surround. Can I mount a direct-to-stud surround over the existing drywall with adhesive? Any advice on how to do it? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2yoWOrQ
