I have a few old school light box style signs (they're basically just a box with two fluorescent bulbs in them) and I'd like to create a custom faceplate for one or more of them. I have two questions:How hot does a fluorescent bulb get? Do I have to look for heat resistant acrylic, for example?If I use paint to draw something on the acrylic, is the heat from the bulbs going to 'melt' it?
