I have a covered front porch that the previous owners had carpeted with epoxy. I removed the carpet but the epoxy is still there. I have tried scraping, broiling water, acids and still can't get it off. The only thing that has worked is my angle grinder with a disc to remove coatings.The problem with the disc is that its about 10 dollars and I get a 2'x2' square before it gets worn out. My porch is probably 20'x6' and don't really want to buy 20 of these pads. I also have looked into renting a industrial floor sander and thats about $100 for the dayMy plan in the end is to tile the porch, so I was wondering if I would be able to just get some leveling concrete and put over it or put down a backer board of some sorts instead of grinding all the epoxy down.Any tips or advice will be greatly appreciated via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2z4Jppn
