I also posted this in r/personalfinance but I thought this would also be a good place to post. My tyre punctured earlier today. I need to get a new one. Is it worth spending extra on a more expensive one, from a financial aspect, as it may last longer or treat the car better overall or is there not much of a difference between a high quality and a low quality? Also none of the other tyres are high quality, does it matter if one of the four tyres is completely different from the others or will this also increase the risk of damaging the car and costing me extra in the long run? I realise these questions might seem really stupid to a lot of you but I wanted to be sure. Thanks in advance!
