I bought an Asobu mighty flask at Star Trek the Experience, I'd been looking at one for a while, and when I saw a star trek branded one, I caved. It's been an excellent vacuum bottle for the 6 or 8 months I've had it.
The plastic ring that keeps the lid and bottle together snapped. It's not removable or replaceable. Turns out "Lifetime Warranty" only covers the metal parts. I'm more than a little pissed. I will credit their customer service for getting back to me quickly, but not even having warranty information printed on the website? Arg.
Good product, disappointing warranty. I was about to purchase a few more, because I like this one so much. Not now. If you're going to plaster in big bold letters Lifetime Warranty on the side of the bottle, you'd better be willing to back it up. Especially since there's no way to replace the entire ring/lid assembly short of buying a new one.
